Village Tidy & Gardening
When: First Saturday of every month, 10:30-12:00, rain or shine
Where: Village Square at Orford & Eden Roads
What: Meet your neighbours and help beautify the neighbourhood. We pick up litter, remove graffiti, and depending on the season, plant bulbs, cut back hedges, or trim roses
No experience or tools required, everyone’s welcome!
Plant & Seed Swap
Sat 4 April, 10:30-1:00pm
Join us with your family and friends at the junction of Orford Road and Church End to sow the meadow by the Ancient House with a mix of pollinator-friendly seeds. The area will be divided into squares and you’ll each be given a cup of seeds to sow in your own square. Watch it bloom in the weeks ahead!
Bring your excess seeds, plants and seedlings, terracotta pots, gardening books and magazines and swap them for something different. Horticultural experts will be on hand to identify plants and give advice.
We’ll be selling handmade gifts and cards to raise funds for more pollinator-friendly plants.
The Big Spring Clean!

Come and help tidy, clear rubbish and remove graffiti, paint lamp posts and BT boxes and generally spruce up the Village to keep it looking amazing.
This event is lots of fun and suitable for all ages and abilities! Please meet at the Village Square with your gloves and wearing long sleeves and sturdy footwear; all equipment will be provided.
The Annual Village Easter Egg Hunt
in partnership with The Hope Garden

12.30, 13.00, 13.30, 14.00 (10 kids per session)
Our annual Village Easter Egg Hunt in partnership with The Hope Garden is for kids to explore this lovely space and hunt for Easter Eggs.
Parents do not need a ticket - 10 kids (tickets) per 30 minute session.
Come along and meet your neighbours!
Hope Garden is on the corner of Beulah and Orford Road.
